BASIC SUCCESS PRINCIPLES !


There is a lot of information on how to succeed in business and most of it is very technical. It seems everyone is an expert but you rarely know how successful the people giving the advice are.

To keep it on a simple level consider the following:

1. 66% to 90% of all failures in business are due to failures in human relations. Getting along with people is crucial. The stereotype successful business tycoon who lords it over everyone and seems to succeed with bad manners is a myth. If you cannot get along with people, you cannot succeed in business or in life on a long term basis.

2. Personality issues such as timidity, shyness, and self consciousness are all basically problems in human relations. These are areas in people’s personalities that will stunt their growth, especially in business.

3. We all must learn the necessary skills in dealing with people. There are no gimmicks only principles

I will be covering this in more detail in the coming days and I wanted to lay down a basic foundation. A lot of people want to be in business for themselves, however, they neglect the most important and elementary element: self improvement.

This is a lifetime process which includes reading, listening to CD’s, attending seminars, and developing mentoring relationships. It requires a time and financial investment.

Most people will think nothing of going out and spending $50-$60 on a meal but would never pay that much for a book or to attend a seminar.
